Woodworking – HackRVA Richmond Makerspace

We have an ever-growing set of tools for woodworking (or other materials, like plastics, similar in characteristics.) Some of them were donated, and we are gradually replacing them with new, professional/pro-sumer grade machines. We know this is not a professional-grade shop, but for most amateurs, it is a step up, and it gets the job done. This is a brief overview, for a more complete list of our woodworking equipment is available see our wiki.

Now running! Avid CNC Router, 5 X 8′ bed.

The new Avid CNC is running and the required training is available.

These are pictures from our old space, we have greatly expanded of capabilities with new woodworking tools, like an upgraded SawStop, planer, jointer, drum sander, Avid Pro 5 x 8 CNC and much much more. Stop by during one of our open houses to see the new space! Hope to update with new pictures soon.
