HackRVA Makerspace Open House!

Come show off a project, socialize, or just hang out. Thinking about becoming a member, come on in, and tour the space. All are welcome! Thursday night has always been our social night when members hang out together. There is no program, agenda, or activity for open house. We just hang out and we invite you to come and visit with us, get a tour if you like.

Hack.RVA is a member-run non-profit makerspace located in Richmond, Virginia. We’re essentially a space filled with tools, computers, and people who like to build, invent, tinker, learn new skills and expand their minds. In our space you’ll find people into electronics, robots, wood working, embedded software, metal working, music, art, video, photography, 3D printing, sewing, textiles, virtual reality, gaming, lasers and much more.

Open Craft Night

Come on over to HackRVA's new location and hangout and work on a craft you've started, or want to start, or come dream big ideas with us.

Crafting includes all sorts from yarn and textiles like knitting, crocheting, rug -tufting, or visible mending; all the way to building Lego sets or leather working!

While not necessarily a planned time to teach how to use equipment at Hack, it can be if a member has plans ready to go (like with the vinyl cutter to make stickers).

Please bring any items needed to work on your craft project or come show off your wonderful work.

Open Craft Night is a free event open to the public. HackRVA is a open and welcoming space for everyone. Come on time, or late, it's all ok!

This is an online event, and we will send the link to all who RSVP when the time is near.

All are welcome, whether just starting out or level 9000!
Come on in, jam on some code. Bring your project or work through an online tutorial. We recommend freecodecamp.org

Time is 630pm to 830pm -- the last Tuesday of the month.
There will be code knowledgeable people around for explanation or conversation. We will try to help each other with what we know, sharing tips and tools. Happy hacking!
